The castle, built between 17th and 18th centuries, shelters an old oil-mill and a wine-cellar today used as a wine tasting room exposing old oak barrels.
During a wine tasting session, one can appreciate the character and the identity of the wines produced by the various Masciarelli estates. The owners, producers of “grands crûs” in the Abruzzo region, have undertaken the restoration works of the castle for more than 5 years to transform it into an exclusive and intimate place. The castle is now a beautiful example of traditional architecture perfectly combined with contemporary Italian design. The greatest names of Italian design have been involved in this project.
This historic place, still keeping the ancient evocative charm, offers huge rooms where the combination of technology and tradition enhance the original beauty.
At the rear of castle, a lovely garden hosts a romantic 18th century chapel.
