Bolsena lake & the Bisentina island
A horse or bike ride through chestnut woods, fields and vineyards to Bolsena lake, the largest volcanic lake in Europe, to visit charming fishermen villages and plunge into the crystal clear waters of the Bisentina island. Lunch takes place in a typical trattoria located on the beach. Return to the castle via the archaeological site of Pianezze (Etruscan tombs) taking the old paths used by shepherds.
