Arrival in Catania from your departure place
Transfer to the agriturismo, meeting with the owner and tour of the estate

11 OCTOBER

Botanical hike in the morning on Mount Etna and discovery of the volcano with a naturalist guide, picnic on site
Visit in the afternoon of an herbalist laboratory to discover and deepen the process of transforming fresh and dry plants. The tour ends in the herbalist's shop.

12 OCTOBER

In the shadow of the majestic Etna volcano lies a 5-hectare botanic park presenting 5,000 varieties of plants and 3,000 species. We will visit, with a guide and an expert agronomist, the extraordinary botanic park of “Radice Pura” as well as part of the breeding ground, part of which is reserved for the 3000 mother plants continually providing seeds and cuttings. This farm is exemplary in terms of sustainable agriculture.
Lunch is planned in the park
Urban trekking in the afternoon with a guide to visit the city of Catania, whose baroque character often hides traces of an older past

13 OCTOBER

In the morning, you can choose between a self-guided tour of the charming town of Taormina and its Greek theatre or a guided tour of the ancient Roman Villa del Casale and its superb mosaics
Return to the masseria in the afternoon for the cooking class «Use of aromatic herbs in Sicilian cuisine»

14 OCTOBER

Transfer to Catania Airport from the agriturismo depending on the return flight schedule
