The teacher
My name is Phu Nyin Ayit, which is a Burmese name. I was born in Australia and grew up in France. I spent my youth traveling and filling sketchbooks with pencils and watercolors, in France, Italy, Asia, and beyond...
I then worked as a decorative painter, learning traditional painting techniques, more academic drawing methods, the rules of perspective, and color theory. This profession allowed me to draw on a large scale, filling entire walls! About ten years later, I trained in botany and medicinal plants and became a botanical drawing instructor.
Through identifying plants during various workshops, my love of travel was rekindled. That's why I also lead travel sketching workshops, which allow me to share all my knowledge with you. I will guide you through this experience, alternating demonstrations and fun exercises that will help you progress in your urban and nature sketching skills.

A day on the island of Capri, renowned since antiquity for its beauty, to stroll through the charming streets of Anacapri, discover lush vegetation composed of plants, flowers, and essences belonging to the island's flora, and admire exceptional landscapes and views. Scenes of daily life, landscapes, architecture, flora – these will all be subjects to fill our travel journal!
JOUR 3
A guided tour of Naples' historic center with a French-speaking guide in the morning, followed by an afternoon stroll through the city's narrow streets in search of subjects to fill our travel journal.
JOUR 4
A guided tour of the Herculaneum archaeological site in the morning with a French-speaking guide, followed by an afternoon stroll through the site in search of subjects to fill our travel journal.
Return to the Bed and Breakfast in the late afternoon for the Neapolitan cooking class.
JOUR 4
Transfer by van to Naples airport depending on the return flight schedule to Paris
